Shutterbugs There Winter Games Challenge

The There Winter Games have begun and the spirit of competition is all around. We're challenging the Shutterbugs to take their best shots at this year's Games for a chance to earn 5000 Therebucks for their event photos! We're planning to give a bonus of 5000T to our favorite screenshots, so don't miss out!

Take photos during the There Winter Games events and submit your best ones to our Flickr group by Monday, March 1st, and we'll pick our favorites to win. Follow these links to join the There Shutterbugs club and to join our Flickr group. Be sure to tag all your photos with "ThereWinterGames, ThereGames, 2010" so we can find them easily. Quick tip: If you're posting photos to the Flickr pool, and your Flickr name is different from your There avatar name, you should include your avatar name somewhere in the photo's description.  That way we’ll know who to reward if it's chosen!

There Winter Games are Here!

There Winter Games are here! Join us over the next 10 days as Thereians around the world come together for a spectacular series of events. Everyone is invited to play and you can earn unique skill rewards for participating! Events run through February 28th.

There are nearly 300 events to choose from! Click here to see a complete list of events. Find the ones that interest you and sign up now! Have a question or just want to know more about There Winter Games?  Check out our helpful FAQ. Don't forget to visit the Winter Games Welcome Center. It will be a "home base" during the Games. Drop by to find daily event listings, pick up a special Olympic-themed Coca-Cola can, hang out with friends, and see a special video by Francis_7. You can also borrow a vehicle if you need one! Don't know which team you're on? That's easy! Everyone is on a There Games team determined by nametag color. There are 16 teams competing to win the gold medal. If you need help figuring out your team color, just use one of the interactive signs at the Welcome Center. You can also join your team's club! This is a great way to meet people and make new friends. If you want some gear to show your team spirit, be sure to check out our There Games Shop. Many designers have also created team gear that you can find for sale in the Auctions. Good luck to all the teams! We'll see you at the Games!
